• Sandholt: French bakery with Icelandic twists. Best sourdough - can sit in or take away.

• Deig: Bagel and bakery. Get the 'Costanza' for a "Brick Lane Bagel", cinnamon cruller and kókómjólk.

Lunch

• Jómfrúin: Smörrebröd with some good warm dishes too. Great for a boozy lunch, get the schnapps if you're feeling cheeky. They have a dish called "shrimp pyramid" - best service in town.

• Fine: Authentic Chinese, beef noodle dish are the best noodles in town. In the evening get the chili chicken, some soup and dumplings.

Dinner

• Sumac: Do you like dips? Lebanese grilled bread, meat skewers - red wine? My fav I think.

• Skál: New-nordic but not self important, just fun and boozy. Get the cod wings.
